Today’s set is a small collection from a brief street shoot-out I had with my good friend Roy Cruz back in the spring. There’s a video coming soon so you can hear our thoughts on this challenge, but for now, please enjoy the images.
For me, Jongno is a familiar place, and so I was searching for the quieter moments in between to express the way the streets felt. It is to the older generation what Gangnam is to the younger generation. This is downtown for them. Common sights are things like very well dressed gentlemen with very well dressed ladies going out for a meal, playing chess in the streets, sipping instant coffee from paper cups, street food, and, of course, lots of drinking.
I hope you enjoy the photographs. Like my Facebook page and subscribe to my YouTube channel to see the video when it is released.
